Tickets age in real time. Green is fresh, amber means it's slipping, red means service is failing. Bump each ticket through New → Cooking → Ready. Combos arrive as one parent block — hold the drink until the food is close, or the iced latte melts.
Tap a table to cycle its state: Open → Seated → Needs Bussing → Open. Seat the waitlist, handle the VIP, and watch your cover count and turn rate move. The lunch crowd won't wait — leave tables dirty and your waitlist walks.
A branching guest interaction. Read the scene aloud, let the class debate, then commit to a choice and reveal the consequence. There's a best path — but the point is the discussion.
